GEEN becomes the general partner of two-time Ironman World Champion Tománek
One of our most successful para-athletes, triathlete Honza Tománek, has acquired a new general partner this February: the GEEN energy group. The aim of this new partnership is to create conditions that will allow Honza Tománek to remain on the podium in all of the world's top competitions for years to come.

'I'm extremely proud that GEEN has decided to become my general partner. I believe our future holds many victories,' said Honza Tománek about the new partnership. 'In the beginning, the whole cooperation resulted from a little bit of luck and coincidence; I saw the Aleš Mokrý case in the media, and one of my friends happened to know Aleš and his company GEEN through work; when he explained how Aleš operates and motivates his team and the people in his company, I decided to contact him. You don't meet many people who have the same approach to motivating handicapped people that I use on myself,' says Tománek, describing the unusual beginning of their cooperation.

'When Honza contacted us, we met and spoke for two hours about our life experiences and how we view society's role in helping handicapped people. What society offers these people and what it should offer them. It was a very enriching experience for me, and in the end we agreed that GEEN will become the general partner of this incredible athlete,' says Aleš Mokrý, CEO of GEEN.

Honza is the historically first Czech person to represent the Czech Republic in the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup for the disabled. He later began to specialise in endurance cross-country skiing. He was also the first Czech person to complete the ČEZ Jizerská 50 and Vasaloppet 90, the longest and most challenging cross-skiing race in the world, on a sledge.
